The Flexi T 300 is an intra uterine device (IUD). This IUD is very flexible, ‘T’ shaped and has copper wire wrapped around it. The copper wire has an immediate impact on the sperm so that they cannot fertilize the egg. The best time to have this IUD inserted is during menstruation. Due to the size and shape of this particular IUD little to no pain is felt when inserted. This IUD is most suited for women who have not yet had children, or have had one child.

It is important to remember that the Flexi T 300 does not protect against sexually transmitted disease. When using the IUD it is common for periods to become heavier. The Flexi T 300 lasts for 5 years. It is very effective and used by many satisfied women.
